Cedarloo will be hosting the Bible Bowl. It will be held at the Hickman Avenue Church of Christ on Saturday, February 18th (unless another date was already announced) with the 25th as a snow date. We will be studying the book of Ruth. More details to come as we have opportunity to discuss with Colby. Richard and Beth Potter are contacts for Cedarloo and can be reached at 319-290-0935 (Beth) or 319-290-0678 (Richard).

Dear Brethren,

We are one month away from our annual Bible Bowl. It will be held Saturday, February 18 th , at the building of the Hickman Road congregation in Des Moines with a makeup date on the following Saturday if the weather is too severe. Cedarloo was the winner last year and is the host this year. They are making the questions and will provide the food. The question will be from the book of Ruth. They will be taken from the New American Standard Bible Updated Edition.

We will follow the same schedule as last year. Registration will be from 9:00-10:00. The questions will start at about 10:00 and should finish about noon for lunch. After lunch and a little bit singing, the results will be tallied and the awards handed out. As in previous years, there should be four contestants on a team with alternates able to substitute every 20 questions. The age divisions are Kindergarten-6 th grade, 7 th grade through 12 th grade, and the adults.

Information on the Bible Bowl can be found on the Iowa Churches of Christ Network on the calendar of events. You can also call Colby Clapp from Hickman Road at (515) 255-8055 if you have any questions.

We look forward to seeing you this year as we enjoy our time of fun and fellowship together. Study heard and we hope to see you soon.

Sincerely,
Colby Clapp
