Bible Bowl 2009: The Life of Samuel
Saturday, February 14
Registration begins 9:00 am

Hickman Road Church of Christ
5217 Hickman Rd, Des Moines, IA 50310

Come join us for a day of great Christian fellowship, as we spur one another on to a greater knowledge of God's word!

The Grandview congregation is co-hosting this year's Bible Bowl together with the Hickman congregation. The topic this year is 1 Samuel 1-10, using the New American Standard Version, 1995 edition. Registration begins at 9:00 am, questions begin at 10:00 am. Donuts will be provided during registration, and lunch will be provided as well.

There will be four rounds of 20 multiple choice questions covering the categories: People, Places, Numbers and Miscellaneous. Teams of four will compete in three divisions: Kindergarten - 6th Grade, 7th - 12th Grade and Adult. Awards will be given based on team scores, as well as for highest individual scores.

It would be most helpful if you would R.S.V.P. with the number of teams in each division from congregation, along with the number of others who will be coming to cheer them on. Teams may also be formed that day with members from other congregations. Please contact Dan or Donna Bailey at dan@baileygoat.com, or 515-265-3028.
